IT'S LOOKING good for a Leamington girl set to hit glamorous heights in a national beauty pageant.

Tamara Rook, 16, will be contesting the title of Miss Teen Galaxy England at the grand final in Lancashire on March 2 next year.

The Miss Teen Galaxy contest was launched in the United Kingdom four years ago and Tamara was recently awarded the title of Miss Teen Warwickshire Galaxy after she heard about the competition during another pageant.

The Cubbington youngster, who works at Aesthetics in Coventry, said: “It felt amazing to be selected, I never thought I could get to the final of something like this but I definitely feel I have the potential to get into the international final next year.

“I am currently looking around, buying dresses for the final, and attending events and making appearances which is all good experience for next year.”

And if she is chosen as the UK champion, she will then travel to the USA to compete in the Galaxy International Pageant.

She added: “I have entered three other pageants, but this is the first one where I have got to the final. Of course It would be amazing to get to America, but meeting all of the other contestants will be a fantastic experience for me.”
