A RETROSPECTIVE exhibition is being staged in tribute to artist Peter Woolf.
Peter passed away suddenly last year following a short illness having been diagnosed with cancer.
The exhibition of 44 of his works can be seen in Leamington's Park Street, at the former Room 4 store, until August 25.
The father-of-two was born near Liverpool but made Leamington his home after marrying Warwick-born Judith.
His training included a spell at the prestigious Royal Academy in London, and as a professional artist he exhibited in galleries at home and abroad.
In his final years Peter helped his friend and fellow artist John Davies set-up The Studio in Leamington - located in the same building as the exhibition - where he also taught.
Away from the easel, Peter was a committed member of the congregation at Northgate Methodist Church in Warwick.
The exhibition, featuring seascapes, landscapes, still lives and abstracts, is open seven days a week and is free to view.
