Teenager killed in Stockton smash named

THE seventeen-year-old man who died as a result of a road traffic collision on Napton Road, Stockton on Thursday (July 26) has been named as Jake Matthew Brain of Welsh Road West, Southam.

Jake’s family have released a photo of Jake but asked for privacy at this difficult time to come to terms with their grief.

Officers investigating the circumstances of the collision, that occurred when the blue MG ZR Jake was driving from the direction of Napton towards Stockton, are continuing to appeal for witnesses to please contact PC 1890 Chris Scriven in the Major Investigation Unit Roads on 01926 415415.

Four other people in the vehicle suffered shock and minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Coventry for further treatment.
