A POST office in Kenilworth was raided by burglars in the early hours of the morning.

They struck just before 2.30am on Friday (July 20) at the post office in Oaks Precinct.

Early witness reports indicate car pulled up near the building and three men got out, leaving one other inside.

They then damaged an ATM, stealing a quantity of cash, and also stole a till which was later found dumped Rouncil Lane on the corner with Sovereign Court. Officers believe the thieves may have stopped there to try and open the till and abandoned it when unsuccessful.
