BUDDHIST monks will lead the way at Warwick Thai Festival on Sunday (July 15). East meets West once again as the popular annual event returns to the town centre. Market Place will be filled with the spiced aromas of eastern cooking and music of the orient, The Rotary organised festival brings a fusion of cultures to the square and offers an opportunity to experience Thailand in your home country. It will include over 40 food and craft stalls and a Buddhist temple with monks where local Thai people can bring gifts at a thanksgiving ceremony timed for 10.15am.

East meets West once again as the popular annual event returns to the town centre, with Market Place set to be filled with the spiced aromas of eastern cooking and music of the orient.
It will include over 40 food and craft stalls and a Buddhist temple with monks, where local Thai people can bring gifts at a thanksgiving ceremony timed for 10.15am.
A parade of Thai drummers and dancers will start in the castle courtyard and convey the mayor and representatives of the Thai embassy to the Market Place for the grand opening at 11.30am.
There will also be Thai dancing and drumming, plus raffle tickets on sale offering a chance to win a holiday to Thailand.
