FORMER BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond will be joining a celebration of The Queen's Coronation at Warwick's St Mary's Church on Saturday (July 5).
Chamber choir and orchestra Armonico Consort, together with AC Academy Warwick children’s choir and the award-winning choirs of the Collegiate Church of St Mary, will be performing with Ms Bond providing a BBC-style ‘overview’
narration between the music.
The music will feature that performed at the original service, including Parry’s I was Glad, Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Walton’s commission for the service – The Coronation Te Deum.
Tickets are priced £10 to £29.50 (children under 16 free if accompanied by and adult) and are available online at www.armonico.org.uk or by calling. The concert starts at 7.30pm.
