AN elderly Kenilworth woman has been targeted by distraction burglars.

The 86-year-old answered her door on Tuesday (June 26) and bought some goods from the male caller, who she allowed into her house.

She later discovered that her purse, containing bank cards and cash, was missing.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was approached by door to door sellers in the town that day, or is aware of any activity involving them.
