A LADIES retail evening on Friday (June 22) will be raising cash for the Special Care Baby Unit at Warwick Hospital.
The event has been organised by online gifts and accessories retailer Evie-Mae and will take place at the community centre in Ettington - a village near Stratford - from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
It will feature a wide range of stalls with local businesses selling their goods, in addition to pamper treatments from local beauty therapists and a visit from Annie the vintage ice cream van.
The money that is raised will go toward purchasing new cots and furnishings for the hospital's Special Care Baby Unit, which specialises in looking after new born babies who may have been born early and require extra medical and nursing care.
Wendy Morris of Evie-Mae has personal experience of the unit and said: “I am so grateful for the marvellous care my premature twins received during their four-week stay and am delighted to be able to raise funds for it."
Entry will be £2.50 per person on the door, which includes a drink.
Visit www.evie-mae.co.uk for more information or call Lindsey Anderson on 07951 579333 or Wendy Morris on 07738 951211.
