KENILWORTH slumped to an 85 run Warwickshire League Premier Division defeat at Nuneaton on Saturday.
The home side were dismissed for 176 which was boosted by a seventh wicket stand of 61 between Rice (65no) and McNeill (31).
Evergreen seamer Pete Alty proved pick of the attaack by returning smart figures of 4-40 from 15 overs, while there was good support from young off-spinner Phil Edmonds 3-47 and skipper Dave Edmunds 2-42.
Kenilworth struggled in reply and quickly slumped to 14 for 4 but opener James Nason showed plenty of resistance before being seventh out for 29.
Guy Pearson (16) and Lee Melville (10) were the only other batsmen to reach double figures as they were skittled out for a paltry 91. McNeill 4-35, Rice 3-18 and Taplin 3-18 did the damage.
The 2nds slipped to a five wicket defeat against Pak Shaheen.
Kenilworth totalled 141 for 7 in a rain reduced 45 overs with openers Richard Strange (40) and Mark Deeley (28) top scoring.
The visitors eased to 142 for 5 despite the best efforts of Geoff Edmunds 3-37, Ali Peebles 1-14 and Charlie Stranks 1-55.
The 3rds were left kicking their heels after Brearly were unable to raise a side for the scheduled Cotswold Hills League Division Six clash.
Kenilworth went down by 24 runs in a 40-over friendly against Tamworth on Sunday.
Tamworth posted 150 for 9 with Giblin hitting a top score 54. Spinners Geoff Edmunds 3-11 and James Nason 3-22 were the most successful bowlers with Charlie Stranks, Graham Woodward and Neil Goodman bagging one wicket apiece.
Giblin completed an outstanding match by returning an amazing 5-8 as Kenilworth were bowled out for 126 of which Dave Edmunds (56) and young debutant Adam Huxford (45) were chief contributors.
