A LEAMINGTON home has been targeted twice by burglars.

In the earlier hours of Friday (May 18) the property in Clarendon Square was broken into via a rear window and three i-pods were stolen from the kitchen plus two mountain bikes from an outbuilding.

Police are also investigating a suspicious incident that occurred at 7.30pm at the same address on Sunday (May 20) when the owner saw a man on his driveway coming out of his garage.

He asked him to wait while he called police but the man punched him and ran away. The owner gave chase in bare feet onto Clarendon Square, Beauchamp Hill and then onto Warwick Terrace but eventually lost the man, who was described as white and in his mid 30s.
