A FLOOD alert has now been withdrawn for the River Leam in Leamington town centre.

The Environment Agency had put out the notice yesterday (Monday) and said at risk areas were Mill Gardens, the Pump Rooms Gardens and parts of Dormer Place and Adelaide Road.

It followed torrential rainfall across the area in recent days.

But despite further showers, the agency has withdrawn its flood warning for the area.
