EGG-CITING craft days are planned at the Heritage Motor Centre over the Easter break on April 5 and 12.
Coinciding with the Gaydon centre's new Motoring Record Breakers exhibition, the craft days on consecutive Thursdays will invite children to make and race their own 'egg car'.
The Easter holidays also see the re-opening of the children’s Miniature Roadway, with electric Go-Karts suitable for ages three to seven.
In addition, The Land Rover Experience - a 20-minute taster session to the thrills and spills of off-road driving – will also open daily, as will a Stop Start Under 17 Driving Experiences offering an hours' learner driver experience for children aged 15 and over.
For more information visit www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk or call 01926 641188.
CUTE chicks and cuddly rabbits beware – running around at Kenilworth Castle over the Easter weekend could be very dangerous, as the site is taken over by sword-wielding knights for two days of medieval combat at the Clash of Knights.
The event launches the Castle’s medieval year in style, promising thrills and spills as knights face each other in live combat.
Visitors will also be able to see some of the weapons up close in a rather less threatening environment, when they meet the knights and have a chance to handle swords and armour in the living history encampment.
The Clash of Knights at Kenilworth Castle takes place from 11am to 5pm on Easter Sunday (April 8) and Monday (April 9). Visit www.english-heritage.org.uk/kenilworth for tickets and further details.
AN EASTER egg hunt at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club in Leek Wootton on Good Friday (April 6) will raise funds for Save the Children.
The Hunt starts at 2.30pm and will be divided into two age groups - five and under and six and over - and there will also be an Easter bonnet competition and face painting. Tickets are available from the Health Club at the Warwickshire by calling 01926 409409 for a suggested minimum donation of £1.
