GAINING an insight into the early communication and development of babies was the theme of fund-raising evenings held in Leamington recently.
Mums and mums-to-be visited Kinderroom on Warwick Street over three nights on March 12, 13 and 15 as part of 'Yummy Mummy Week' which raised £200 for a childhood cancer charity.
Nikki Sayers from Dandy Development – which holds baby and toddler development classes in Leamington, Warwick and Barford - attended to give talks on the early communication of babies. Bommé Stüber from Kinderroom also talked about stages of childhood development and appropriate toys for certain ages.
Organisers thanked their many sponsors and partners for supporting the event, including Kirsty Fairweather Photography, Sew Unique Crafts and Zumba Fitness in donating prizes for a special draw.
