THOUSANDS of green-fingeredfood-loving folk attended The Edible Garden Show held over the weekend at Stoneleigh Park.

The event was home to celebrity gardeners, chefs, experts and a wide range of exhibitors offering gardening products to all-comers - from novice growers to seasoned expert.

Tips and advice were offered from resident experts, including award-winning BBC gardening presenter James Wong, who encouraged gardeners to explore the edibles that will flourish in UK gardens.

Various demonstrations were also held with the opportunity to get hands dirty in potting and planting.

Everything a visitor could need – from seeds, compost and machinery through to chickens, sheds, greenhouses and bee hives - were made available for sale.
