LEAMINGTON return to Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division action with a trip to leaders Brackley Town on Saturday (3pm).
It promises to be a tough test for Brakes who are eight points adrift of the table-toppers and have not won in their last seven league games.
Brakes, whose scheduled clash at home to Swindon Supermarine on Saturday was postponed due to a frozen pitch, slipped to seventh place in the table following Chippenham Town’s 3-0 midweek victory over Weymouth.
Brakes warmed-up for the Brackley clash by travelling to Solihull Moors for a friendly on Tuesday night which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Jacob Blyth and Stephan Morley, with a stunning trademark free kick, fired Brakes into a two goal lead but the Blue Square Conference North outfit hit back to level in what proved a useful workout.
