UP to a dozen fire-fighters tackled a blaze at a home in Leamington on Saturday (February 4).
They were called to Willes Terrace just after 12.30pm after fire was reported in a three-storey house.
At its height there were a dozen fire-fighters on scene, four fire engines and three police cars, plus an ambulance, an incident support officer, the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews treated a man for mild smoke inhalation at the scene but he did not require further hospital treatment.
“The ambulance service remained at the scene for a further three hours working alongside other emergency and utility services to assist with an evacuation of the property following reports of a suspected gas leak.”
This morning (Monday) a front bottom window of the property is boarded up with a charred sofa left on the front lawn.
