POLICE probing a violent attack in Leamington last year are following up a number of new leads following an appeal on BBC's Crimewatch programme.
In the early hours of June 22 last year a 20-year-man from Oxfordshire was attacked with a brick outside Koko's night club in Warwick Street.
He suffered a fractured jaw, a cut above his eye and problems with his sight which have required extensive hospital treatment.
It is believed his attacker was one of a group of people seen at the scene.
CCTV footage was shown on Crimewatch last Thursday night (January 26) and resulted in calls to the studio and Warwickshire Police which are now being followed up.
