SHERLOCK Holmes is on the case at Kenilworth's Priory Theatre next week.

The Rosemary Hill theatre presents John Nicholson and Steven Canny’s comic take on the Conan Doyle classic The Hound of the Baskervilles with a cast of three quick-changing actors donning frocks, assorted wigs and big black beards.

Director John Evans said: ’We are extremely honoured to be premiering this outstanding production onto the amateur stage.

"The cast are doing an incredible job, and some rehearsals have seen the backstage crew reduced to tears of laughter from the comedic performances. The pace of the production is breathtaking, the fast changing sets are impressive, and the energy from the cast as they tell the story of the classic Sherlock Holmes thriller is stunning.'

The production runs from February 1 to 11.
