GUIDE Dogs is creating eight new jobs at its local centres.
The organisation is looking to employ five people at the National Breeding Centre in Bishop's Tachbrook, one at the Guide Dogs Training School in Leamington and a further two based in Coventry.
The charity, which celebrated its 80th birthday last year, has recently restructured in a bid to help thousands more blind and partially sighted people get the help they need across the country.
Jobs are available across the whole spectrum from senior management to admin support, from working with dogs to developing fund-raising campaigns for new mobility services for blind and partially sighted people.
For more information about the opportunities visit www.guidedogs.org.uk or call 01189 838771.
WARWICKSHIRE Association for the Blind (WAB) needs volunteers to spare an hour or two to help them with store and street collections taking place in various locations in the county.
To find out where the collections are taking place and to register interest contact Susan - WAB's Fund-raiser on 01922 411331 or email Susan.Bowers@wa4b.org.uk.
