POLICE seized their biggest haul of cash ever when they stopped a car on the M40.
Officers discovered a staggering £112,000 hidden in the boot of a Honda Civic after they stopped a woman driving it on the motorway, near Gaydon.
And it didn't stop there as a search of the 43-year-old Uxbridge woman's home uncovered another £310,000 bringing the total to more than £420,000.
Amanda Cameron was charged with two offences of money laundering and appeared before magistrates in Leamington on Thursday January 19.
She pleaded guilty to the offences and has been remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday February 9.
A Warwickshire Police spokesman confirmed it was the largest amount of cash to be seized by the force.
